Irresponsible?

When you test POSITIVE for the virus, here are the things you don’t do:

• You don’t go out in the middle of your quarantine period to casually grocery shop, or to have your car washed
• You don’t go to hospitals unauthorized to take another test just because you’re sure you’ll get a negative result this time
• Moreover, you don’t go to the next farthest hospital across city instead of the ones near your area, only to get caught by a traffic officer making a wrong turn thus, risk the possibility of exposing him as well
• You don’t complacently cough around your house without a mask, risking the health of your family members
• You don’t get to play doctor and insist on you own choice of medications and methods
• You don’t get to go against your actual doctor’s orders, and doubting their expertise
• In the first place, you don’t go home from exposing yourself to others, and sleep on the same room with your children without showering and changing your clothes, and insisting that it’s totally fine

You don’t get to do all those things. You don’t deserve to do all those those things. You risked the lives of those around you. Those who have been extra cautious and wary of the virus from the start, trying all that they can just to avoid contracting it. And yet, they did, and they’re the ones you call irresponsible?

You don’t get to do all those things, and call me irresponsible.
